I’d like to introduce you to Sleep Less Records.

Sleep Less Records is an independent record label based in Liverpool and we are in the business of producing and releasing Drum & Bass and Dubstep.

We are working with some established artists but also putting a strong focus on highlighting some up-and-coming names as well. We are not restricted to any genre of Drum & Bass/Dubstep and it is this freedom and love for the music that is the foundation of Sleep Less Records.

The Sleep Less family of producers, DJ’s, and MC’s is already strong and diverse:

  • SIKDOPE, this Polish Dubstep duo are tipped for very big things and have received a lot of radio play and support in 2012;
  • KUMARACHI, gained regular airplay on BBC Radio 1 and the BBC Asian Network Show, and can class Bobby Friction as a fan;
  • Liverpool’s own DAN DANKO, a versatile master in the art of keeping the vibe dark, deep, and tech whether he’s producing Dubstep or Drum & Bass;
  • KSO, known worldwide for filling dancefloors with his unique flavour of filthy Dubstep;
  • SAPPO, Manchester based, BBC Radio 1Xtra presenter, sold over 250,000 records on his own label, Sappo is one of the biggest.
  • MC SAS, needs no introduction as the founder of SLRUK, has played with top DJ’s including High Contrast, Sigma, and Futurebound.

SLRUK was founded by Viper Recording’s own MC SAS in April 2012 and already we have attracted over 1000 followers on social networking sites. Our first releases, Sold Your Soul Featuring Alison Roberts by MC SAS and Dubstep Haters by Sikdope have been received very well, with 2000 downloads and over 15,000 plays and interactions between them.  This is very promising and we feel that the future for Sleep Less Records is bright.

We are looking to expand the Sleep Less brand and grow as business and family. We believe the more work you put in the more you get out, which is why at SLRUK we never sleep.
